Noah's Floating Zoo: Safe in the Boat

Have you ever seen a really big boat? Imagine a boat so big it could fit two of every kind of animal in the world! That's the boat Noah built.

The Big Storm

A long time after Adam and Eve, people had become very mean. They were fighting and hurting each other all the time. It made God very sad. He decided to send a big flood to wash the world clean and start over.

But there was one man who loved God. His name was Noah. God told Noah to build a giant boat called an Ark.

Building the Ark

Noah obeyed God, even though it must have looked silly to build a giant boat on dry land! It took a long time, maybe 100 years! Noah and his family worked hard. Hammer, saw, hammer, saw.

Then, God sent the animals. Two by two, they marched onto the ark. Lions, tigers, bears, and even kangaroos! Then Noah and his family went inside, and God shut the door.

Safe Inside

Then the rain started. Drip, drop, SPLASH! It rained for 40 days and 40 nights. The water covered the whole earth. But inside the ark, Noah, his family, and the animals were safe and dry. God took care of them.

The Rainbow Promise

Finally, the rain stopped. The water went down, and the ark landed on a mountain. Noah and his family came out and thanked God. Then, God put a beautiful rainbow in the sky. He promised never to flood the whole earth again.

Just like the ark kept Noah safe, Jesus keeps us safe. When we trust in Jesus, we are safe in God's family forever!

🌟 The Big Question

How do you think Noah felt when he was building the boat and people were probably laughing at him? Why is it important to obey God even when others don't?
